ನಮ್ಮ ಲವರ್ ಬಾಯ್ ಗುಂಡಾ ಯಾಕೋ ತುಂಬಾ feel ಮಾಡ್ಕೊಂದಿದ್ದ ಇವತ್ತು. ಈ ಲವ್ವು ಹೀಗೇರಿ. ಕರೆಕ್ಟ್ ಟ್ರಾಕ್ಕ್ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ರೆ ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ಎಕ್ಸ್‌ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ತರ ಒಡ್ತಾ ಇರತ್ತೆ,ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಸ್ಕ್ರ್ಯಾಪ್ ಆಗಿರೋ ಗೂಡ್ಸ್ ರೈಲ್‍ಗಿಂತ ಕರಾಬ್ ಆಗ್‌ಬಿಡತೆ. "Differences of opinion" ಒಂದು ತುಂಬಾ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಕಾರಣ ಈ ಪ್ರೇಮಿಗಳ ಕಿತಾಟಕ್ಕೆ. ಒಂದು ಟಿ.ವಿ ರಿಮೋಟ್ ಕಂಟ್ರೋಲ್ ನಂತ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಿಷಯದಿಂದ ಹಿಡೆದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಳಿನ ಒಂದು ಅತಿ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಸ್ಟೇಜ್ ನಲ್ಲೂ ಕೂಡ ಇದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಡುವೆ ಬೃಹದಕಾರದ ಗೋಡೆಯಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಬಹುದು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನಿಮ್ಮಲೇ ಇರುವುದೇ ಹೊರತು ಯಾವ ಮೂರನೇ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಗಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಗುಂಡನ ಕೇಸ್ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಿರೋದು ಇದೆ. ಗುಂಡ ಫೋನ್ ಮಾಡ್ತಾನೇ, ಅವಳು ಫೋನ್ಯೆತೊದಿಲ್ಲ -- Missed Call. ಅವಳು ಫೋನ್ ಮಾಡ್ತಾಳೆ, ಗುಂಡ ಫೋನ್ ಕಟ್ ಮಾಡ್ತಾನೇ--Disconnected Call. ಆಮೇಲೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದಿನ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಇಬ್ರೂ ಫೋನ್ ಮಾಡೋದಿಲ್ಲ--No Call. ಗುಂಡ ಫ್ರೀ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಆಫೀಸ್, ಅವಳು ಫ್ರೀ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ಗುಂಡನಿಗೆ ರಿಲೀಸ್. ಇಬ್ರೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೀಗೂ ಫ್ರೀ ಮಾಡ್ಕೊಂಡು ಎಲ್ಲ ಸೆಟಲ್ ಮಾಡ್‌ಕೋಳೋಣ ಅಂತ ಇರ್ತಾರೆ ಅನ್ನಿ, there works the murphy's laws. ಗುಂಡನ ಅಪ್ಪ ಇವನಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೋ ಕಿತ್ತೊಗಿರೊ ಕೆಲಸ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಚಿಕ್ಕಪೆಟೆ ಗೆ ಕಳಿಸ್ತಾರೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬರೋ ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಇವನ ಮೈಮೇಲೆ 1 ಕೆ.ಜಿ ಮಣ್ಣು, ಅರ್ಧ ಕೆ.ಜಿ ಧೂಳು. ಅವಳೋ ಬುಗಲ್ ರಾಕ್ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾದು ಕಾದು ಜೊಳ ಸುಡೋ ಕೆ0ಡದಷ್ಟು ಕೆಂಪಾಗಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿರ್ತಾಳೆ. ಮತ್ತೆ ಅದೇ ಸೈಕಲ್ ರಿಪೀಟ್. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಏನು ಪರಿಹಾರ?

"One should understand each other and try to compromise" ಇದು ತುಂಬಾ ಸಿಂಪಲ್ ಅನಿಸಬಹುದು ಆದರೆ ಇದೆ ಫ್ಯಾಕ್ಟ್. ಹೀಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಫಾರ್ಮಲ್ ಅಡ್ವೈಸ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಮಾತಾಡಿ ಸರಿ ಮಾಡ್‌ಕೋಳೋ ಗುಂಡಾ ಅಂದೇ. ಈ ಲವ್ ಮಾಡೋರು ಯಾವಾಗ ಮೆಂಟಲ್ ಆಗೋಗ್ತಾರೋ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ....ಒಂದೋಂದ್ಸಾಲ ಹುಚ್ಚು ನಾಯಿ ಕಚಿದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಡ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಕಥೆ ಹೊಡಿ ಬೇಡ ಹೋಗೋ ಲೇ..ನಿನಗೇನೂ ಗೊತ್ತು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಅಂದ್ರೆ...ಹುಡುಗಿ ಇದ್ರೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿರೋದು, ಅವಳನ್ನ miss ಮಾಡ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ರೆ? ಅವಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ರೆ? ಎನ್ ಹೇಳ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇ ನೀನು?? ಹೇಳು ನೋಡೋಣ??ಅಂತ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ರಫ್ ಆಗಿ ಹೇಳ್ದ. ಒಂದು ನಿಮಿಷ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಬ್ಲ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಆದೇ.

ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದ ಕೆಲವು ಮರೆಯಲಾಗದ ನೆನಪುಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಮೃತಿಪಟಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲು ಅಡಗಿರುತದೆ. ಕೆಲವು ನೆನಪುಗಳು ಮನದ ಪುಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದರೆ ಕೆಲವು ನಾವು ತೆಗೆದ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಆಟೋಗ್ರಾಫ್ ಬುಕ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಬಿಡುವಿನ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಆಕಸ್ಮತಾಗಿ ಇದು ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಆದರ ಪುಟಗಳನ್ನುತಿರುವುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದಂತೆ ನಾವು ಕಳೆದು ಕೊಂಡಿರುವದನೆಲ್ಲ ಪುನಹ ಪಡೆಯುತಿರುವ ಭಾವ ಉಮ್ಮಳಿಸಿ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಳೆಯ/ಗೆಳೆತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಬೀಳ್ಕೊಡಿಗೆ ಸಮಾರಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಮನಸನ್ನು ಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕಂಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಆ ಮದುರವಾದ ನೆನಪುಗಳು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಬರವಣಿಗೆಗಳು ಇವೆಲ್ಲ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾನಸಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಂದಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತದೆ.ನಾನು ಹೀಗಿದ್ನ? ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತೀರೋ ಹುಡುಗಿ ನೇ ಅಲ್ವಾ ನಾನು ಇಷ್ಟ ಪಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಿದು, ಇವಾಗ ಹೇಗಾಗಿರಬಹುದು? ಎಂದು ನೆನಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ ಮರೆಯಾದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುತೇವೆ.
ನಾವು ಕಳೆದ ಆ ದಿನಗಳು, ನಾವು ನಡೆದು ಬಂದ ಆ ಹಾದಿ, ನಾವು ಸವೆಸಿದ ರಸ್ತೆ, ನಾವು ಕೂರುತಿದ್ದ ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ರೂಮು, ಹುಡುಗೀರ ನೋಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಕೂರುತಿದ್ದ ಟೀ ಅಂಗಡಿ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಒಂದು ಸ್ಪೆಶಲ್ ಎಫೆಕ್ಟ್ ಸಿನೆಮಾ ತರ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದು ಹೋಗುತದೇ. ಹೀಗೆ ಭಾವನೆಗಳ ಸಾಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳವಾಗಿ ಮುಳುಗಿ ಹೊರಬಂದು ಆಲ್ಬಮ್ ಮುಚ್ಚುವಾಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ತುಂಬಿ ಬರುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅನುಮಾನವಿಲ್ಲ.

British Slang

If you grew up in the UK or at least have lived here for many months, then the chances are that you would recognise a lot of British slang.I bet that learning British slang would prove to be a totally new learning experience.

Here’s a sneak peek:

Hiya - Short for hi there, this is a friendly way of saying hello.

All right? - This is used a lot around London and the south to mean, “Hello, how are you”? You would say it to a complete stranger or someone you knew. The normal response would be for them to say “All right”? back to you. It is said as a question. Sometimes it might get expanded to “all right mate”?

Cheers - This word is obviously used when drinking with friends. However, it also has other colloquial meanings. For example when saying goodbye you could say "cheers", or "cheers then". It also means thank you.

Dodgy - If someone or something is a bit dodgy, it is not to be trusted. Dodgy food should be thrown away at home, or sent back in a restaurant. Dodgy people are best avoided.

Not my cup of tea - This is a common saying here that means something is not to your liking.

These were just few of what I thought I could start using – and be laughed at for not being understood outside of England.

ಇವತ್ತು ತುಂಬಾ ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಡಿಲೆ ಮಾಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದ ಹೇರ್ ಕಟ್ ಪ್ರೋಗ್ರಾಮ್ ನ ಮುಗಿಸ್ಲೆ ಬೇಕು ಅಂತ ಆಫೀಸ್ ಇಂದ ಬೇಗ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇರ್ ಕಟ್ ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರೋಗ್ರಾಮ್. ನಾಲ್ಕು ಗಂಟೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಶಾಪ್ ತೆಗ್ದಿರೋದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗೋ ಹೀಗೋ ಬೇಗ ಡ್ರೆಸ್ ಚೇಂಜ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಜಿಮ್ಮೀ ಯ ಕಟ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಶಾಪ್ ಗೆ ಹೋದೆ. ಇದಿದ್ದು ಇಬ್ರು ಆಫ್ರಿಕನ್ಸ್. ಕೂದಲೇ ಇರಲ್ಲ ನನ್ ಮಕ್ಲಿಗೆ, ಕಟ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಮಾತ್ರ ಒಂದು ಗಂಟೆ ಮಾಡ್ತಾರೆ. ಕಾದು ಕಾದು ಬೇಜಾರ್ ಆಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದ ಒಂದು ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷ್ ನ್ಯೂಸ್ ಪೇಪರ್ ಓದ್ತಾ ಕೂತೆ. ತಕ್ಷಣ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಸ್ವಾರಸ್ಯವಾದ ನ್ಯೂಸ್ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್ ಫ್ಯೂನರಲ್. ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿಂಗ್ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೆ, ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್ ಎಂಗೇಜ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೆ, ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್ ಮದುವೆ ಕೂಡ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೆ, ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್ ಫ್ಯೂನರಲ್ ಆ ಅಂದು ಕೊಂಡು ಫುಲ್ ನ್ಯೂಸ್ ಓದ್ತಾ ಕೂತೆ..

Well got up little late today...yesterdays party went upto 2 AM and it was 3 when i hit the bed...wanted to sleep for a long time but got "SAP Alarm point" call...There were days when I used to enjoy ringing of my mobile phone..Calls from my close ADDA boyz, Dad and sweet voices of those pretty (girl)friends...But what has happened now??? getting calls from alarm points..filesystem full, job failed, abap dump occured, user locked..HUH...ridiculous.......

Logged into orkut to see if there is any scrap...no change the same number...Immediately my attention was caught by "Today's Fortune" tab..

Well I was reading this novel since last 10 days and completed today...This novel is THE most enchanting one I have ever read. I have read a lot of books, and this is by far, is the best. It is a long one. That's for sure. But it's worth it. It is truly a book that refuses to stay shut. It's like if your eyes are glued to it, because you cannot let go. The characters in the story namely, Sayuri, Mameha and Hatsumomo are so well etched that you are not likely to forget them for a long time. You sympathise with Sayuri, appreciate Mameha's kindness towards Chiyo of we love to hate the ever vindicitive Hatsumomo. This book is really something that will make you fall in love with the Japanese culture. A must read novel friends!!!
